Contemporary adaption to classic house, Winchester.

This extension and refurbishment project saw a 1950's house transformed into a truly unique contemporary family home. 

 

With a focus on the client's very active lifestyle and interest in competing in triathlons, a 25m heated swimming pool was installed, alongside an indoor gym, allowing them to train
from home. 

​

The reorientation of the space involved adding in an extra bedroom on the first floor, and creating an open plan space for the kitchen, dining room and lounge area on the ground floor, opening up the house into the garden.  

​

Bespoke metal work was a key design feature for the staircase and hallway, with a floor to ceiling heavy duty book case creating a unique focal point.
