King and Drury are excited to be constructing this two storey, contemporary property in Hampshire.
 

The project showcases a two-storey private residence designed to blend seamlessly with its natural surroundings. The structure is anchored by a steel frame with lightweight SFS infill, providing strength and flexibility while allowing for expansive glazing panels that frame panoramic views and flood the interior with natural light.

A refined external material mix of oak cladding, flint, and masonry ensures a balance between modern aesthetics and traditional craftsmanship, creating a warm yet durable façade. Living roofs further enhance sustainability, improving insulation and biodiversity while softening the home’s visual impact within the landscape.

 

Additional scope includes drainage connections, roofing, and the installation of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing services, including PV panels. Landscaping will involve re-levelling, new access and parking areas, and retaining structures, with an internal fit-out completing the build.

The landscaping has been carefully designed to complement the architecture, with a spacious terrace extending from the house, providing the perfect setting to take in the breathtaking views, while a rill water feature adds a tranquil focal point, enhancing the connection between the home and its natural surroundings.
